Geneva, 5 December 2022 – The winning watches of the 2022 edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) were exhibited in New York from 1 to 4 December in the splendid Soho building of Watches of Switzerland.
The long-awaited arrival of the GPHG in the United States was magnificently orchestrated by Watches of Switzerland, our partner for this American premiere. A must-see event, the exhibition was advertised in Time Square, as well as on buses and underground stations, and drew crowds of afficionados during the four days of presentation of the watchmaking excellence awarded by the GPHG 2022 Jury and Academy.
An inauguration evening and dinner the following day brought together the leading figures in the New York watch industry. The press and watch lovers were there to appreciate the technical and artistic prowess of these exceptional timepieces, thanks to the expertise of the professionals at Watches of Switzerland.
The 2022 touring exhibition comes to a prestigious and enthusiastic close here in New York, after stopping off in New Delhi, Casablanca and Geneva, all destinations, events and encounters that have provided an opportunity to salute watchmaking creations and the men and women who bring them to life with passion.
The GPHG looks forward to seeing you next year for its 23rd celebration of watchmaking excellence.
