GPHG 2025: when prestige real estate meets watchmaking excellence

This 25ᵉ edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) will remain particularly memorable: not only because it celebrates a quarter of a century of watchmaking passion, but also because it was held in a new emblematic venue – the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices in Geneva. As main sponsor, Forbes Global Properties Swiss & Alps is proud to be part of this high point, a symbol of the convergence of heritage, innovation and regional dynamism.

For this anniversary edition, the GPHG is taking a new step forward: the Academy, now made up of 1,050 members, offers greater representativeness and credibility to the selection of timepieces. In addition, the return of the “Mechanical Clock” category underlines the GPHG’s commitment to honouring watchmaking in all its forms, from contemporary watches to exceptional clocks.

The ceremony on 13 November 2025, hosted by Antoine de Caunes, showcased not only watchmaking talent but also the GPHG’s international reputation.

The Grand Prix de l’Aiguille d’Or, the most prestigious distinction, was awarded to Breguet for its Classique Souscription 2025 watch, a single-hand timepiece inspired by the company’s historic models. This watch, with its apparent simplicity, embodies one of the most elegant challenges in watchmaking: making tradition speak with a refined design.

The Prix de l’Audace was also awarded to Fam Al Hut for its Möbius, a non-conformist creation that redefines the limits of technical miniaturisation. It was with great pride that Quentin Epiney, CEO of FGP Swiss & Alps, presented the prize: a highlight that illustrates our support for innovation and creativity in watchmaking.

For over thirteen years, our commitment to the GPHG has reflected our conviction that prestige real estate and watchmaking share a common DNA: to create works that stand the test of time, crafted with the same exacting standards of precision, durability and craftsmanship.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the GPHG Foundation, the Academicians, the jurors, the participating brands and all the enthusiasts who make this event possible. Together, we continue to write this magnificent chapter in Geneva watchmaking – and to support the skills that shape the identity of our region.
